I chose Heidelberg because I had the opportunity to continue my sports career, as well as receive a well-rounded education. Another reason was because of the PlusOneAdvantage® MBA degree that Heidelberg offered.
I majored in Health Science because my future career goal is to become a chiropractor.
A major challenge I encountered while at Heidelberg was COVID-19 and I handled it by staying organized and finding activities to do during quarantine.
Above all, Heidelberg prepared me to face the challenges that will be thrown at me throughout my professional career.
Outside of the classroom, I was involved in athletics (football team), Outdoors Club and Residence Life.
My favorite extracurricular activity was the Outdoors Club because I enjoyed hunting and fishing with my friends.
One faculty or staff mentor or advisor who impacted my ’Berg experience is (alumnus) Dr. Christopher Lofquist. His class and advice assisted with solidifying my decision to become a chiropractor.
My advice to new freshmen would be get involved on campus in any way possible.
My favorite Heidelberg memory was my summer internships at Spectrum Orthopedics and Bunker Chiropractic.
My plans after graduation are moving to Florida and continuing my education path to becoming a chiropractor.
