About

Morgan Harrigan has over 10 years of experience as a higher education professional, all of which have been at Heidelberg University. Prior to her role as Director of Academic Support, she served 7 years as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, 2 years as a graduate assistant women’s basketball coach, and 4 years as a 2-sport collegiate athlete who was very involved on campus as a Heidelberg University Student Prince. Morgan is an active member of the Heidelberg Community as she is also a Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee, teaches NDI: 128-The Learning Process in an Academic Environment, a member of the MLK Day ON! Planning Committee, Green Dot Team, Coordinated Community Response Team, Athletics Hall of Fame Committee, an Appellate Officer for Title IX, a Search Advocate for hiring committees, and an advisor to Zeta Theta Psi. Morgan’s passion is to support all students. She loves connecting with Heidelberg University students by helping them navigate a successful transition to college by understanding and utilizing the resources available to them. She received her B.A. in Sport Management and Health and Physical Education from Heidelberg College and her M.A. in Education from Heidelberg University. She enjoys working out, coaching youth basketball, traveling to experience different cultures and foods, cheering on the Student Princes, and spending time with her family, which includes her daughters, Madelyn and Mya, and boyfriend Shaun.
