Alexa Hawk and Jeanna Fullom didn’t know each other until recently. Even so, they have a few things in common. They come from the same home town – Harrod, Ohio, near Lima – but went to different high schools. Come this fall, both will be students at Heidelberg.

Alexa (pictured at left) is entering her second year as a psychology and criminology double major. She’s very engaged on campus, working as an ambassador in the Admission Office last year. She also was a cheerleader.

For the past 9 years, the Patricia Adams Lecture Series has brought a special gift to campus twice each academic year. The 18 women leaders who have visited as PALS keynote speakers have taught, inspired and motivated us. The 10th anniversary celebration of PALS in October will bring the biggest names yet.

Heidelberg University is gearing up for the implementation of Green Dot, an evidence-based bystander intervention program aimed at reducing and preventing dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking.  Last week, a team of 8 Heidelberg employees became certified Green Dot instructors by attending a four-day instructor training.

For the second time in program history, the Heidelberg University baseball team is headed to the NCAA Division III World Series. The Student Princes, up 4-1 through seven, used a 10-run eighth inning to cruise to a 14-1 victory over the College of Wooster.

With the win, Heidelberg emerged from the Mideast Super Regional and will head to the eight-team World Series. The event -- being held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for the first time -- will run from May 31-June 5.

Beucler earns All-American status in 400m Hurdles

For the first time since 2017, the Heidelberg University track and field team saw one of their own claim a spot on the podium at the National Championships on Saturday afternoon.

With a fifth place finish in the men's 400 meter hurdles, senior Kenny Beucler earned All-American status at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio today.
