As Heidelberg reaches Thanksgiving break, so does World Student Union with its annual International Dinner. Every year, right before break, World Student Union hosts an International Dinner open to all of Heidelberg as well as the Tiffin community.

The Board of Trustees has announced that, in accordance with terms of President Robert H. Huntington’s 2020-2025 employment agreement, his contract has been extended an additional year.
Board Chair Kathleen Tirbovich Geier, ’78, made the announcement following the Board’s fall meetings Oct. 26-30. President Huntington was given a rolling contract designed to automatically turn into another five-year contract at the end of the first year and every year thereafter. As a result, his new contract has been extended to June 2026.

Several dozen faculty members jumped at the chance to see some familiar faces, even if on Zoom, during TechSlam on Nov. 5. TechSlam, organized by Instructional Technologist Rebecca Frank, gave the professors a chance to demonstrate five-minute “crash courses” about cool tech tools they’ve utilized in their classrooms, especially since many have or are teaching partially remotely this semester.

November 11 was a day of double celebrations for Heidelberg. As the ’Berg community gathered in appreciation for all current and past military men and women during the annual Veterans Day observance, President Rob Huntington, in his welcoming remarks, also noted that today we celebrate the “momentous occasion” Heidelberg’s Founders Day (our 170th).
