Video Game Production Major Requirements

Students completing a Video Game Production degree at Heidelberg will be well prepared to enter a variety of fields in the video game industry. The interdisciplinary approach allows students to choose courses in five different areas (art, business, computer science, media studies or music).

•  CPS 150: Fundamentals of Computer Science     
•  CPS 201: Computer Programming       
•  MED 126: Video Game Production
•  MED 326: Animation and Effects
•  MED 335: Video Games, Representation, and Identity
•  MED 336: Advanced Video Game Production
•  MED 337: History of Video Games
•  MED 338: Theory and Narrative Structures of Video Games
•  MTH 119: Statistics
•  2-3 more courses in either art, business, computer science, or media. 

Minor in Video Game Production
