The personal attention of a small library,
with the resources of a large library
Beeghly Library offers the friendly, personal attention of a small library with the resources of a large research library. Membership in two consortia groups, OhioLINK and OPAL, means you get the resources of a much larger institution, but the one-on-one assistance of a librarian you’ll see almost every day.
OhioLINK provides access to:
• more than 36 million books at 121 member libraries
• 24 million articles
• 125,000 eBooks
• More than 100 databases
OPAL (Ohio Private Academic Libraries) provides:
• combined resources of 24 Ohio university and college libraries eBook subscriptions
• technical support
• state-wide collaboration
Our round library is unique, with large windows that let in the sun and offer fantastic views of the campus. We have several individual study rooms, group study rooms, large-screen tvs/monitors for group projects/video viewing, and two collaboration tables. Other unique things Beeghly offers:
- Whiteboard tables for math problems, paper outlines, or chemical formulas.
- Whiteboards available throughout the library.
- Beanbag chairs for relaxed reading (or even napping!)
This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)
