With more than 25 years’ experience in business development and management, Mark Veal is a Professor at the School of Business & Technology here at Heidelberg University, focusing on management and marketing classes.  Mark has broad experience in several industries, including sporting goods, healthcare, eyewear and food, with a strong focus on promoting brand awareness and building customer relationships.  His achievements include several presidents club, salesman of the year, and projection buster awards.  Most recently, Mark has dedicated himself to the area of teaching and talent development.  Mark’s passion for the classroom, and his ability to combine real business experience with education and development, makes him a favorite of his students.    Mark played three sports at Saline High School – football, basketball and track and field, winning All-State honors and a football and a track scholarship at Saginaw Valley University.  He has a BA in Communications and Psychology, and Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, both from Eastern Michigan University.  Mark held a board seat for the Association of Talent Development of Michigan from 2015-2019 as VP of Marketing and Communications, and recently VP of Finance.  In addition to his board duties, he created and facilitated training workshops for both professional and collegiate leadership teams at several national conventions.  Mark has been teaching at Heidelberg since Fall 2017.
