About

Tyson is a proud alum of Heidelberg Unviversity (2008). After completing his BS in Athletic Training at Heidelberg University, he attended Kent State University where he earned a MA degree in Exercise, Leaisure, and Sport with a Concentration in Athletic Training. After completion of his graduate degree he returned to Tiffin and held a position as an outreach Athletic Trainer before accepting a position to return to Heidelberg as the Coordinator of Athletic Training Services and Instructor of Athletic Training in 2012. Tyson currently provides clinical coverage and care for football, men's basketball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, and the cheer team. At Heidelberg, Tyson is also a member of the faculty and instructor in Athletic Training and Health Sciences. In addition to his responsibilities here at Heidelberg, Tyson is the active Chair of OAC Athletic Trainers' and a member of the Secondary Schools Co mmittee of the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association. 

Tyson currently resides outside of Tiffin with his wife, Erica, and their two daughters Maura and Everly.
