The Dr. Lisa Kahle-Piasecki led a book club for the Greaterarticle, Digital Badges: A Pilot Study of Employer Perceptions, Toledo Area Chapter of Talent Development. The group ofdiscusses the research of employers in Northwest Ohio and HR, Organizational Development and Training Specialists mettheir opinions of their current practices and perceptions monthly for three months to discuss the book Doing the Choresof recognizing employees professional development and by local author David Elser. David participated in one of theperformance authenticated by a digital badge. The survey sessions. The book tells a story about learning the basics forfound that more than half of human resource directors felt building a strong work ethic from influential leaders in hisdigital badges would play an important role in hiring in the life - his grandparents. David refers to the basics as smartfuture.followership skills in honor of his grandpa.Podcast appearancesHeidelberg MBA student Isaac Wienen and alumnus Kelly Itito 23 launched a Digital Marketing Agency named Steadi and they regularly post content on LinkedIn. A segment of their content includes a podcast, Back2Basics. Dr. Salil Khetani was invited to their podcast in March to talk about the Consumer Behavior field of marketing and covered a range of topics within that field.
