2007 Sponsors and Golfers Brave the Rain to Support Heidelberg Soccer
Over 60 golfers and sponsors came out to Clinton Heights Golf Course on Sunday, August 19th to help the Heidelberg College men’s soccer team raise funds for overnight tournament trips to Kentucky and Indiana. Family, friends, alumni, and current players braved the cold and the rain to participate in what was a very successful event for head coach Brian Haley and his team.
Winning the scramble with a score of nine under par was the quartet of alumnus Ryan Wise ’02, current players Robbie Marks and Brad Howell, and a guest player. The runners-up included current player Billy Banks, his father, and two brothers, who cumulatively shot seven under.
The event could not have been possible without the help of the outing sponsors. A sincere thank you goes out to all those who supported the outing and to all those that are continued supporters of Heidelberg athletics.
