About the Strength & Conditioning Concentration

The Strength and Conditioning concentration is offered within Heidelberg’s Exercise Science major and prepares students to sit for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam. Additional coursework covers the competencies assessed on the CSCS exam while providing students with opportunities to review key concepts and complete practice exams through the CSCS Prep course.

This does not replace official academic requirements in the university catalog. Enrolled students will work with their faculty advisor to ensure they meet all the requirements of their major.
