About the Applied Mathematics Minor

The Applied Mathematics minor is designed for students who seek to enhance their primary field of study with robust quantitative tools, focusing on the practical application of mathematical principles to model, analyze, and solve real-world problems. This minor provides a strong foundation in analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques essential for careers in today’s increasingly technical society.

 

This does not replace official academic requirements in the university catalog. Enrolled students will work with their faculty advisor to ensure they meet all the requirements of their major.
