Lauren McGraw is an Assistant Professor of Health Science and Coordinator of Athletic Training Services at Heidelberg University. She graduated from Heidelberg University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Athletic Training and Health Science. After Heidelberg, she went on to Valdosta State University. While at Valdosta, she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and received her Masters of Education in Higher Education Leadership in May 2017. Lauren joined the faculty at Heidelberg in August of 2017. Lauren is a BOC-certified and licensed by the state of Ohio as an Athletic Trainer. She is a member of NATA, GLATA, and OATA. She holds other certifications as an American Red Cross Instructor for CPR and Dry Needling Pro Level 1. Lauren currently teaches courses in Health Science and Exercise Science. She is also working clinically as an Athletic Trainer for Volleyball and Softball. She is an active member of the campus community as she serves as an advisor to students in the School of Allied Health, sits on the UAPC committee, and is Alumni Advisor for the Philalethean Society. She has been selected as the SAAC Athletic Trainer of the year in 2019 and 2023. Lauren also helps put on the Heidelberg Health Professions Camp each summer for current high school students. Lauren currently resides in Tiffin with her husband Jake, son Finley, and their two dogs, Ruger and Riley.
