Morgan Harrigan

Morgan Harrigan has over 15 years of experience as a higher education professional, all of which have been at Heidelberg University. Prior to her current role, she served as Executive Director of the Owen Center, Director of Academic Support, Senior Woman Administrator, Head Women's Basketball Coach, Graduate Assistant Women's Basketball Coach, and 4 years as a 2-sport collegiate athlete who was very involved on campus as a Heidelberg University Student Prince.

Morgan is an active member of the Heidelberg community, serving as a member of the university's Strategic Leadership Team. She is also the School Certifying Official, serves on the Green Dot Team and Coordinated Community Response Team, is a member of the Athletics Hall of Fame Committee, an Appellate Officer for Title IX, a Search Advocate for hiring committees, and an advisor to Zeta Theta Psi.

Morgan's passion lies in creating opportunities for students and families to find their path to and through Heidelberg University. Drawing on her background in student success, she brings a student-centered lens to enrollment strategy, ensuring that every prospective and current Student Prince has access to the resources, support, and guidance needed to thrive. Morgan sees herself as an opportunity maker — someone dedicated to opening doors for students and helping her team do the same, so that every student who chooses Heidelberg has a clear path to a successful transition and a meaningful college experience.

She received her B.A. in Sport Management and Health and Physical Education from Heidelberg College and her M.A. in Education from Heidelberg University.
Morgan enjoys working out, coaching high school basketball, traveling to experience different cultures and foods, cheering on the Student Princes, and spending time with her family, which includes her daughters, Madelyn and Mya, and boyfriend Shaun.
