About

I'm a former high school math teacher of 8.5 years, and chess/esports coach of 8 years at Upper Sandusky High School. My passion for gaming started all the way back with the NES and has continued all the way through today's modern consoles, online and tabletop gaming. I've loved working with students of all skill levels, learning and growing their passions for gaming, while building strong, positive relationships with like-minded peers. Some of my favorite game franchises include The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Splatoon, Animal Crossing and Pokemon.

My goals for the Heidelberg Esports teams are to promote a positive and competitive environment for our teams to win conference and league titles, to foster both individual and team growth in gaming, live-streaming, and shoutcasting, and to promote the development of industry-based skills, build deep connections with peers and industry professionals, and take away lifelong friendships and memories from their time here at Heidelberg University.
