A Heidelberg Christmas Presents 'The Nutcracker'

Happy holidays from the School of Music & Theatre. Join us for a festive holiday celebration as we will combine our 129th performance of Handel's "Messiah" with a playful re-creation of Tchaikovsky’s 'The Nutcracker."
Honor Festival

Calling all high school musicians: Bring your passion and instrument to Heidelberg for our School of Music & Theatre Honor Festival. Enjoy a day dedicated to music making with Dr. Greg Ramsdell for the Honor Choir OR Prof. Jon Waters for the Honor Band. Participate in mock auditions and masterclasses with Heidelberg faculty. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. in Brenneman Music Hall with the fun starting at 9 a.m. The Honor Festival Concert begins at 6 p.m. in Ohl Concert Hall inside Brenneman. Event cost is $25 per student, which includes a T-shirt, lunch and dinner.

Community Music School Fall Showcase Concert

The Heidelberg University Community Music School will present its Fall Showcase Concert. The CMS is a joint venture, that promotes the development of a lifelong love of music for all ages and ability levels by providing a variety of educational opportunities for children and adults.
Concert Choir Concert

The Heidelberg University Concert Choir, the premiere choral ensemble of the university’s School of Music & Theatre, will kick off the 2019-20 performance season with a concert Sunday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 5475 Brand Road, Dublin, Ohio.
Under the direction of Dr. Greg Ramsdell, director of choral activities and associate professor of choral music education, and accompanied by pianist Cynthia Ramsdell, the 51-member vocal choir will present a concert with the theme “Homeward (Un)bound,” completing a three-year, travel-themed cycle.
