The Vocal Arts Camp is a five-day summer camp for students ages 13-18.  Discover your vocal potential with voice lessons, masterclasses and pre-professional training to develop vocal artistry and confidence.  Explore vocal ensembles in a variety of sizes and musical styles. Dive into interactive sessions on auditioning, acting for singing, stage movement and singing in foreign languages.

Superhero

Superhero is a musical with a book by John Logan, and music and lyrics by Tom Kitt (of Next to Normal fame). It premiered Off-Broadway in 2019 and tells the story of a mother and son dealing with loss, who are helped by a mysterious stranger in their building, exploring themes of family, grief, and heroism.

Directed by senior theatre major Amelia Hammond.

2025 was a momentous year in the life of Heidelberg University -- the year we celebrated our beloved alma mater’s 175th birthday! In observance of this significant milestone, the choir will undertake a joint tour to Germany with the Heidelberg University Symphonic Band.

The Heidelberg New Music Association and School of Music & Theatre will be holding the 1st Biennial New Music Festival and Symposium on March 26th - 28th, 2026. The festival will consist of five concerts and a research presentation symposium.
