The theme of the spring concert is Songs of the Heart.

You are cordially invited to join the Heidelberg University Concert Choir and Chamber Singers for our annual home concert. We will be singing in the sanctuary at the Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay Street, Carey, OH 43316, on Friday, April 25, at 7:30 pm. Please note the change from our typical location and from our typical time. The theme of this concert is Heroes, and Villains, and Myths, and Legends.

Assassins, Music/Lyrics Stephen Sondheim and Book by John Weidman is Directed by Karla Kash, Music Directed by Michael Shirtz, and Choreographed by Pamela Shirtz in the Gundlach Theatre. Performances are on April 18, 19, and 20 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, 21 at 2:00 pm.

Travel around the world exploring different holiday traditions, stories and music with our “Joy to the World” program. The program culminates with the 135th Heidelberg performance of portions of Handel’s Messiah, featuring the Concert and University-Community choirs and guest soloists.
