The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant funds programs that prepare the next generation of counselors to serve communities where care is often hardest to access—marginalized, underserved, and rural populations. This grant allows you to gain specialized training, make a real difference, and receive support while you’re still in your MAC program.
You may be eligible if you enter the MAC program in:

Complete field placements designed to strengthen access to counseling where resources are scarce.
Develop and demonstrate competencies that align with HRSA’s national priorities to grow the behavioral health workforce.
$25,000 stipend - Focus on your field work while reducing financial stress.
Telehealth training - Expand access by learning to serve clients virtually; it prepares you for board certification.
Integrated Trauma-Informed Therapy certification - Graduate with advanced skills built right into your program.
Sand Tray Therapy training + personal kit - Gain tools for creative, client-centered practice.
Speaker Series - Learn from professionals serving marginalized, rural, and underserved communities.
Paid registration - Network and grow at the All Ohio Counselor Conference.
