The Class of 2021 was officially welcomed to Heidelberg on Thursday with advice to think outside the box and beyond prescribed goals of being an “A” student.

He was the keynote speaker for Opening Convocation, which officially ushered in the 2017-18 academic year.

Sunday morning, new students boarded buses and headed to Hocking Hills for two days of bonding and fun outdoor activities to launch their HYPE Career Ready journey.

In its second year, the HYPE First-Year Common Experience produced 300-plus “happy campers.”
