Heidelberg University, located in Tiffin, Ohio, invites applications for Adjunct Instructor of Theatre Production and Designer of Theatre Productions for the Spring 2023 semester starting January 9th.  The successful candidate should be a dynamic teacher with a strong background in theatre production and design.  The successful candidate will teach the following courses: THR 106: Play Production, introducing different aspects of Production design and construction for majors and non-majors, and THR 270 Principles of Design for theatre majors.  The candidate would also serve as

The School of Music & Theatre at Heidelberg University and Heidelberg New Music Association are pleased to announce a Call for New Works written by artists currently attending high school in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. Heidelberg’s Call for New Works encompasses works for choir, symphonic band, chamber ensembles, and soloists, as outlined in the category descriptions below.

The COVID pandemic has had a devastating impact upon the arts world. Concert halls, theaters, and dance studios have been largely empty for the majority of the past 18 months. Choruses have experienced especially devastating consequences due to the fear of spreading the virus through singing. Many voices have been silenced, and those that haven't have been dampened and muffled by masks. All of us in the performing arts have suffered the loss of critical aspects of our identity as we anxiously anticipate the resumption of live artistic endeavors.
