Every fall, Heidelberg University welcomes the families of our current students and this year we’ve expanded our programming to include little sibs activities! Heidelberg will welcome Dr. Peter Van Arsdale, an author and an authority on Holocaust sites in Europe as the keynote speaker. His work also has focused on immigrants, refugees and those impacted by genocide. He is the author of Forced to Flee: Human Rights and Human Wrongs in Refugee Homelands.
An event wherein the Office of Multicultural Affairs honors multicultural graduates for the 2023 year. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate and honor our spring, summer, and fall graduates, and students who have achieved academic excellence. In anticipation of commencement, we host this event to bring our diverse student body together to honor their successes and to recognize this step in their life journey.

A ceremony for LGBTQ and Ally undergraduate and graduate students to acknowledge their achievements, contributions, and unique experiences through their time at Heidelberg University. The event also serves as an opportunity to address and recognize the difficulties of achievement in a climate that is often less desirable for LGBTQ+ students. Lavender Graduation is sponsored by Multicultural Affairs and Berg Allies.
