I chose Heidelberg because the good campus environment and the PlusOneAdvantage MBA program as well as football.
I majored in Communication and integrated media, to pursue a career in sports broadcasting.
A major challenge I encountered while at Heidelberg was stepping away from football, and I handled it by making a tough decision and doing what was best for my future.
The best opportunity I discovered at Heidelberg was doing play by play broadcasting for basketball and baseball.
Outside of the classroom, I was involved in Sports Information and writing for the student newspaper, The Kilikilik.
The thing I'm most proud of about my Heidelberg accomplishments is graduating on time and enrolling in the master's program.
One faculty or staff mentor or advisor who impacted my ‘Berg experience is Jeff Garvin because he gave me the opportunity to broadcast games.
My advice to new freshman me would be to Step outside of your comfort zone and try new things.
My favorite Heidelberg memory is beating John Carroll in overtime my freshman year.
My plans after graduation are move back home and pursue a career in sports media.
