The School of Music & Theatre’s Vocal Audition Workshop is a great opportunity for high school students to participate in mock auditions, clinics and masterclasses with music and theatre faculty on topics ranging from Finding Beauty: Embrace more Freedom in your Vocal Technique, Finding Truth: Delve into Character through Text study, Finding Creativity: Improvisation as a Tool for Discovery,  Finding a Future: Build a Live pursuing your Passion.

Lena Mahmoud is the author of Amreekiya, an Arab American Book Award winner, a finalist for the Louise Meriwether First Book Prize, and one of Foreword’s Four Phenomenal Debut Novels. Her work has appeared or will appear in Fifth Wednesday, Sukoon, A Gathering Together, and The Offing, among others. She has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes.​
