Heidelberg University’s seventh annual Education Summit will have a different flavor this year. Presentations will feature ‘Berg faculty and local educators and the ways they are partnering to engage their students in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).

Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Colloquium

Heidelberg University’s Master of Arts in Counseling will offer a daylong seminar to address behavioral healthcare issues. Healthcare professionals and college students are invited to attend the Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Colloquium Saturday, March 16, free of charge. The event will be held in Pfleiderer Hall, beginning with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. Lunch is included. The day’s presentations will conclude at 4:15 p.m.

Ohio Poet Laureate Dave Lucas will visit Heidelberg University on Wednesday, March 13, for a reading of his poetry. The community is invited to the reading, which will be held at 3 p.m. in The University Commons.

Lucas’s visit is the second in the spring semester Jean Warren Gekler Writer’s Series, hosted by the School of Communication, Humanities & the Arts.

In creating the Patricia Adams Lecture Series, John and Pat Adams sought to provide extraordinary opportunities for all Heidelberg students, graduate and undergraduate, as well as faculty and staff, and the broader Tiffin community. The first lecture in the series was held in September 2010 and coincided with the grand opening of Adams Hall at Heidelberg University, home to the new School of Business. The lecture series is named to honor Pat Adams’ long-standing loyalty to and passion for Heidelberg University,

Vocal Audition Workshop is rescheduled for Saturday, January 26.


Do your knees shake? Do the Butterflies in your stomach seem enormous? Do you worry about choosing the right song or musical theatre cut? Join us on January 19 for a day dedicated to empowering your vocal auditions. Participants will perform mock auditions and receive feedback from School of Music and Theatre faculty, have a private voice lesson on their musical selection and attend afternoon workshops on a broad variety of topics.
