Tom is a two-time graduate from Heidelberg University. He completed his Bachelor’s in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts in 2011 and his Master’s in Education in 2015. Originally from Norwalk, Ohio, Tom graduated from Monroeville High School. While enrolled in college, Tom was a student athlete on the football team, a member of Excelsior Men’s Society, a DJ for WHEI and involved in theatre. Since graduating from college Tom has worked in admissions and alumni relations roles at several universities including Urbana University, The Ohio State University and Heidelberg University.

Tom was born on a military base in Monterey, California.
