Heidelberg University recognizes academic excellence by awarding academic scholarships. These are awarded after acceptance to Heidelberg and are based on your overall admission application, including standardized test scores and academic performance in high school.
- Presidential Scholarship - $17,000 per year
- Dean's Scholarship - $16,000 per year
- Faculty Scholarship - $15,000 per year
- Academic Award - $13,000 per year

Heidelberg offers transfer students scholarships based on GPA.
Music and Theatre Scholarship, Amounts vary
Renewal based upon a 2.5 GPA.
Must plan to major in music or theatre. Audition required by March 1st. Minimum high school GPA of 2.5.

Must plan to participate in music ensembles or theatre performances.
Austin E. Knowlton Memorial Scholarship $5,000
First consideration given to Ohio student with an interest in mathematics or the natural sciences. Renewable for four years. More information available.
Upon admission to Heidelberg, top scholars are invited to a Scholars Day event to compete for additional academic scholarship awards up to $29,000.
Heidelberg scholarships and grants are awarded to first-year students and based on seventh semester high school GPA and standardized tests taken in or before February. Gift aid cannot exceed current tuition. Renewal of all sources of financial aid is contingent upon maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). SAP requires students to pass at least 67% of their attempted hours per academic year. They must have a 2.0 GPA or higher by the end of their sophomore year.
