New Student Orientation
Welcome to the Heidelberg Student Prince family!
Orientation for new students and their supporters takes place on campus throughout the summer. This immersive, one-day experience is designed to launch your Heidelberg journey with confidence, connection, and clarity.
What to Expect
You'll spend the day getting answers to your questions and making connections that matter
Here's some of what you'll experience at orientation as a new Heidelberg Student Prince:
- Meet Heidelberg faculty, staff, and fellow Student Princes — these are the people who'll become your campus community
- Work with advisors from the Owen Center for Teaching & Learning to review your academic schedule
- Finalize details for financial aid, housing, billing, accessibility, and other Heidelberg resources available to you
- Learn about Heidelberg clubs, organizations, and all the ways to get involved on campus
Registration Details
- Each student needs to attend one orientation day (virtual options available for out-of-state students — approval required)
- Advance registration is required since space is limited at each session
- You can bring up to two guests (encouraged, but not required)
- Plan to stay for the full day — all sessions are required
