Join Heidelberg's School of Music & Theatre for our annual Honor Festival, a day celebrating excellence in the performing arts!
Along with honor festival rehearsals, students can take part in mock auditions, faculty masterclasses, and student panels on pursuing music in college, whether as a major or a passion. The festival is open to all students, and we welcome both student applications and recommendations from music directors and educators.
The $20 participation fee includes lunch, dinner, and a festival t-shirt.

Call for New Works
Heidelberg University's School of Music & Theatre and the Heidelberg New Music Association invite high school composers from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania to submit original works. We welcome pieces for choir, symphonic band, chamber ensembles, and soloists.
The Call for New Works is part of the School of Music & Theatre's Honor Festival, where high school students perform with our Honor Choir and Honor Band. The festival is an artistic extension of Heidelberg's MLK Jr. Day ON!, a day of celebration, reflection, and service to the community. Submissions should reflect on or portray themes of community, inclusivity, and belonging through the diverse, expressive lens of music and theatre.
